O and before I started filling (will take more pics as it fills) I got another size reference for those who were saying it looks like a 300 (sorry, 10 year old photographer = blurry pics)
And one without me in it. The al;uminum angle iron in the foreground of the tank is about the size of walter right now.
Full! even has an occupant! The occupant may or may not survive the night... given the 30 degree temperature shock of tossing him in there, but he IS a feeder.
Still no Water on the floor. The bubbles make the bottom look grey (along with the dust the tank has collected over the past few weeks.)
Next thing to do while it sits there and the sole ridiculous occupant explores his vast new home, is to start getting the materials for the lids and the filter. I need to raid a construction site for some 8" water main piping to house my 7" diameter filter socks.
That thing's huge! And it looks like something I wouldn't hesitate to buy if I had the money. You're really good at DIY. Anything DIY I make looks like it's been sat on my Rosie O'Donnell.
