Fire Eel with Tyre track Eel

Whats up guys.
Just rescued a Fire eel today.
He's 4"
my Tyre track is around 1' maybe pushing 1'1/2. I was worried at the start but they were sitting together and on top of each other.
There only in a 200litre for the moment until june.
then my huge 7'3'3 is going into production.

not good ones. hes being a lazy ass lol. hes sitting in the giant boat I put in there for him. these are the best I could get tonight. there zoomed and blurry. sorry

You rescued him? Got him free? I'm jealous. I had a fire eel, but my tire track beat him bad and he died from a bad bacterial infection that I didn't notice till it was too late. He'd always stay in his pipe but one day I noticed him bobbing around in it strangely. I moved him out of the pipe and got sick too my stomach when I realized how bad it was. 75% of his body was swollen and stiff like it was already dead. Its beautiful color gone. He could only move his head around up till his fins than the rest was dead. That's why I never noticed. He looked normal till I moved his pipe. My tire track is about 28" now and is a pain in my ass. He's such a picky eater. Wont eat nothing but market shrimp now. Congrats on the fire eel save.

Here's hoping my stories different.
My TT is a little wuss and just likes everyone lol. He's incredibly friendly. my clown loaches lay on his tail and he rests his head on them. its awesome. I felt bad for this fire eel. the guy had several and this one was the smallest one and was getting beat up. hes full off personality. Both my TT and my Fire eel eat bloodworm and catfish tablets. hopefully they'll grow massive in my 7'3'3

If they are eating catfish tablets, get them on massivor as soon as you can. It's rare for eels to eat dry foods. On massivor in a lrge aquarium like yours, they'll grow faster and larger. I've done it before by soaking massivor with thawing frozen bloodworms. He's don't eat bloodworm anymore so.....yeah.
