First Arowana

Hi again.

So this might be a stupid question but I wanted a confirmation..

I've been looking up at pictures of silver aros on the net and mine seems quite a bit darker. almost matt gray especially on the back. Could it be I got my hands on a black aro? I've read on this forum that Silvers are silver in color with a pink redish tail, Blacks body color are darker then a silver and has orange around the tail. Can someone correctly identify my boy (or gal)

here's some unedited pictures

So it finally happened, the arowana jumped out of the tank. Bruised a few scales and the left eye got slightly cloudy but otherwise he is swimming fine with no more visible injuries.

What can I do to help him heal? I know scales will grow back. Will the eye also heal on its own? I didn't have enough melafix so i could only add half a dose to the tank.

thanks!

any idea how long it takes to heal? it's a very light haze. only visible when the light hits it a certain way

I can't believe i'm so emotionally invested in a fish XD

Am back from work. So far the eye seems better. Maybe it even cleared out completely. Was probably just some superficial scratch on the cornea. Other than that I noticed a small scrap on the top of the head and some fin damage but I know those will heal just fine

That fish had me worried all day. Even called my mom to ask her to check on him ?
