I love fresh water rays but unfortunately they are on th egrey list here in Oz soon to be banned

Im going to have to say that im not sure. i didnt see anything like that displayed on the packaging. Just the brand name and that it was pool filtration sand.

Awesome build joey, you will be so relaxed now when you build a bigger tank. I am very keen to do a big tank, but have always been worried about doing a good job of fibreglassing. Now I wont have to, I will use a product like yours. Very nice Rays too.

Rays are in there now. no issues at all as of yet.. water parameters are the same as my all glass tanks. no detection in change do to the rubber.

thanks alot. i hope this rubber stands up to the test of time and can be used for many opther tanks. I think if i were to go any bigger, i would use a geo-textile membrane for the corners and seams for extra safety, but other than that, i wouldnt change much for water proffing. It is completly fine as of right now. no touch ups or resealing was needed like i have seen in some other builds, so that was nice. I thought i may have to do the seams again but i think since the rubber has flex to it and doesnt crack, i didnt have to.
