Hello everyone, I have this fish for a few months now. It was sold to me as Chitala lopis, Have a traits that resemble C.lopis. Not sure if this is really a pure C.lopis but I decided to shared it here.

This indeed appears to be a mainland C. lopis, stunning fish and an absolute favorite of mine. Good find
First off, welcome! Number 2- Beautiful fish. Need more pictures. I for one am skeptical with the recent market flood of alleged C. lopis. They are considered extinct and maybe I am naive but I was not aware of captive adult breeding projects. Could be its borneo native counterpart which looks awfully similar and taxonomically took a while to split due to their apparent similarities. Still not much scientifically about the more cryptic Chitala other than of course ornata and blanci. I am probably far from correct, either way nice, rare fish and I hope for conservation's sake, it is lopis!
