Thats A Sweet Looking DIY.. Good Job Mate.. :D

Rare to see you around these parts Robert.

i haven't had time to post any pics but the tank is in the house i had to knock out a window to get it in the house because i couldn't make the corners threw the doors. and i started on the plumbing for the filtration today 2 inch pvc isn't cheap when you need as much as i did haha. ill get the sump done then ill post pics of bringing it in the house and the plumbing. once i get it running i will be done working on it for a few months fall is coming and its my busy time of the year.

i did all the plumbing today and turned the pump on for about 20 min this thing scares the Hell outta me. it is split off into 4 return pipes that are 1 and a quarter inch and still has a good stream shooting out. my 2 inch bulk heads can't keep up with the pump unless i turn it down about 40 percent but can this be hard on the pump to have it blocked off that much? i have already talked with apriliarider a little about it and we decided it should be fine but what is some other opinions? my one bulkhead had a little leak that's why i shut it down for th night but ill just paint some rubber around it to seal it up tomorro and it should all be ready to roll

Nope throttling back a centrifugal pump, with a valve, will NOT affect it...It's the same thing as having more head to overcome.
Just don't "starve" the pump, to lower the flow rate.
In other words put the valve, inline, AFTER, the pump...
