Fish tank water turned dark purple

So I did a 60% water change yesterday afternoon and then this morning water was dark purple. No idea what would do it. Only used salt and seachem safe. Anyone ever hear of this???

Perhaps something is malfunctioning with the LEDs. Have you try turning off the LEDs and viewing with "regular" light?

Nothing to do with lighting cause my toilet is dark purple from the water change lol

City.... All I can think of is its something they put in the water reacting to the seachem safe I add.

that was my assumption as well. they honestly may have added a dye or something to locate a leak or chemical in they system, and it reacted with the safe like you stated. Generally leak identifiers are purple...my first thought.
