FISHING SEASON 2K10!!!!!!

Good stuff Larry!!!!

The weather here the last two days was nice but it still wasnt enough to unthaw non moving bodies of water. I had the itch so bad today I was going to go get my license but due to partying(super drunk) last night I spent most of the day in the bed. My time is getting closer tho!!!!

Come on down to Texas bruh, I got ya. The weather here is starting to warm back up for us after our two week cold snap that kept us in the 20's and 30's. The last couple of days it has been in the mid 60s with lows in the hi 40's. Also here are a couple of more fish I caught yesterday while I couldn't bare to sit and watch the Cowboys get the brakes beat off of them by the Vikings. So I went fishing and pulled these in in about an 1 hour and a half.

Today was a great step for me!!!

So around 12 me and my nephew went and did some lake hopping. The first spot was "Exta" it was still frozen, the only spot that was unthawed was the middle. So we hopped back in the car and made are way to the next spot. This spot is one of three ponds in my complex that has no fishing signs all over. It was semi unthawed so we pulled the poles out for about 30mins but no bites but we did see one bluegill looking like it was ablout to die. Next spot was my yardville spot, it was totally frozen over. The next spot was the PA D&R canal. All the ice was gone but after not seeing any action after about 45mins we left. After grabbing some lunch we were off to "baker Basin". Bakers Basin is were I have caught the first fish of the year for the last past two years. It also was still frozen solid. The basin is feed from the NJ D&R canal so when we reached the car I said "f" it im going to see if i can get lucky. So I take off my jig and tied on a perch color husky jerk bait. So im casting and cast and out of no where a 12" CP took a strike at it about two feet in front of me. Even tho I didnt hook the fish it sent my confidence through the roof. I made repeated cast in the direction it came from but I quess it had already swam up current. So I moved down about 20ft so i could get a parrellel cast on a nice brush pile. Sure enough I wasnt the only thing that thought the brush pile was prime real estate cause soon as the jerk bait came pass it a nice 15"+ CP came shootting out and took a swipe at it, it missed so i stopped it and once it took another swipt at it but missed again then it swam off.

I didnt get my first fish of the year yet but im on track to do something I have never done before and that is catch a fish in January!!

hey there dont knock it till you try it. Hand lining a nice fish through the ice on a tip-up can be "F***ing exhilarating" ( From Herald and Kumar)

Moon clock finally came!!!

Going back a few days, that action I seen fell in the excellent time for that day. Excellent time seems to be right on time!!!!
