True indeed!!!

With yesterdays high being 63 around here I already knew I would go out and check on some water today. I Also knew even tho the temp was good with all that rain we recieved that if the lakes were unthawed they would be very muddy.

So the the wife wakes up to get ready for work and started going off on some BS. So what do I do, I roll over and grab my 2k10 moon clock. So I aline it to today's date. It says excellent time is from 7:45-9:30. I get up and get myself together and head out to bakers basin praying that it's unthawed. I arrive at 9 , I dont waste any time with the D&R canal but instead walk straight to the basin. Only to find it mostly frozen. Only the sides and a small part of the middle were open. I still give it a shot for about 45 minutes, no sign of anything, I mean nothing!

Moon clock says 1:45-3:00 is a good time for today. So I'm going to let it heat up alittle and return back to the basin for round two around 12:00.

Stay tuned, I really need to catch something!!!

i want to just head out to a local 5 foot deep river and just throw my line in even though i know there is absolutely nothing to catch...at least i dont think lol

I dont like the cold weather much but mid 60s sound good, at the moment we have had 90 to 95 for the last two weeks its been night fishing or pre dawn till the sun comes up for me. Gone through your thread a bit lately, its very interesting to see what you catch over there, hope it warms up soon.

I gotta get fishing. All my rods and reels are ready, I just need to take a trip to the bait and tackle to restock because someone I was fishing with tossed my box into the lake to see if it would float and everything rusted, including a Bass Pro Shops scale.

In another month ill be hitting up the delaware trying to nail some stripers coming back up...and soon after taht it will be the chanels

Something has come up and if all goes well I maybe back in Florida in 3 weeks doing a bit more Bass fishing with a Frog
