FISHING SEASON 2K10!!!!!!

Spots fished-1

Time fished-2.5 hrs

Fish landed-1 :irked:

Right after work I shot to "Rosedale" and begun fishing at 4:15. The bass were not active at all, I think the quick change in temperature has did something to them. 90 one day and 59 the next, not good for bass. It usually takes 3 days for the fish adjust to a major weather change and also heavy rains. Thats just my opinion!!

At 5:27 I lucked up and banged one, it jumped out a brush pile when the buzzy came past parallel!

One fish but it still beats a shunk!!

Dennis got a hobie kayak and was tring it out at a spot I call "Church street"

Its right by my job so I was there around 4:30. Dennis had been there since 12 and hadnt caught anything. I never been on a kayak before so he let me try it out. Its really cool how you can paddle it around. Its takes on alittle water where the paddle equipment is but its not that bad. It has rod holders and alot of storage too. Well I break in the kayak when I landed my first and only fish.

Kayaking was fun as hell!!

Time fished-4.25 hrs

Fish landed-I-12/Uncle James-1

Got off work early and picked up a shipmate but once it was time to go "where is my keys for the truck". I searched every inch of the house and cars. No keys, so no boat outting!! The feeling of my keys being lost bothered my so much I went to my job and found them. Since I was now in Pennington I decided to we go to "baldwin lake" and good thing I did!! Man the bass were bitting very good today. Unk got one on a buzzy, I got 8 on the buzzy, 3 on the dinger, and 1 on a crank bait(funny).

12 Alittle over 4 hrs, thats a very good day!!!

You should come down to Florida and go Kayaking with the big boys, we go kayaking in Gator country! I have been on a kayak in Myakka State Park, Wall to wall Gators. Remind me sometime to tell you about the time a 5 footer went over the my buddies kayak, and I almost pissed myself laughing. Needless to say his shorts took on a different color than yellow.

Ok I was planning on giving you a call today but now I need to wait until I speak with my Doctor tomorrow before I do anything. Put a serious hurting some how on my left foot and now it's up in my left leg too. So I'll be at the Doctors tomorrow.

But I'm lov'N hearing your kill'N them on buzz baits, I hope I got a Blades of Death somewhere, love that bait just takes alot to throw it.

Update
Largemouth bass 15+": 9
Bluegills 7+": 4
Coho Salmon: 3
Suckers: 24
Rock bass: 1
Steelhead: 3
Smallmouth bass: 3
Pike: 3

Yup, caught 5 smallies today and 3 largies. top 5 fish 19 pounds. The one smallie was well over 25 inchs and the biggest bass yet. But I "quick released" it right next to me and never got to hold it.

didnt get pictures, tho i thought about it, my camera is next to useless.

buddy of mine called me up, said he caught a bunch of fish and wanted me to clean them since he is no good at it. so i picked them up later that day.

the basket contained one bluegill, 2 crappies, and 4 LMB. unfortunately when i but open the largest bass, i found she was a prego, although i suspected it as soon as i picked her up and saw the gut on her.

he called to tell me that since i did all the work, i could keep his share, so far have eaten the fish tonight and two nights ago, delicious stuff.

Hey Terry I just picked up a canoe on Wednesday ~ funny how your fishing partner got a kayak also. If you ever wanna head out give me a ring bro.

Bet!!!

OMG I cannot believe that I left all of my great lures in Florida, this time around. Normally I bring two or three of my best lures back to the city, But not this time, it looks like I will have to build a small vest for NY & NJ fishing and maybe wait until I return to Florida in May for some of the real special pieces.

I'll call my Fishing buddy and ask him to ship me another Blades-O-Death.
