I had 1 huge bite (probably a leopard shark the way it was acting) and the fish walked me about 75 yards up the beach and then headed straight out. The whole time I was reeling and my drag was screaming. After it took a little over 100 yards of line my 8# mono leader failed at the knot and the fish was gone.
quick picture my son took while trying to turn the fish.
