FISHING SEASON 2K10!!!!!!

Went today and suffered. no bites. pretty day but cold. maybe next week. more god damn snow tonight.

Took my boys fishing yesterday on January 6th to the beach in Santa Monica. Stayed for a total of 4 hours and caught 5 striped surf perch. I had 1 huge bite (probably a leopard shark the way it was acting) and the fish walked me about 75 yards up the beach and then headed straight out. The whole time I was reeling and my drag was screaming. After it took a little over 100 yards of line my 8# mono leader failed at the knot and the fish was gone.

It's good to be in So Cal when most of the nation is in a deep freeze

as I said season is closed here so this contest wasn't exactly fair

Just cause the season is closed doesnt mean you cant go fishing for them. I just thought that ment your not suppossed to keep them.

Went Fishing a few days ago with a guide (Stephen McDonald) in florida for peacock bass:
It was a tons of fun and we caught 20+ fish.

Great catch esp in the cold weather (well now nothing is biting) PB arent easy to catch Dec/Jan/Feb. Nice looking PB.

Your guide knows the few areas they do bite.

The local golf course had 6 floating PB today due to these nasty prolonged cold nights

Last year was a good season(817 fish) but this year I need a excellent one!!!!

February 1st is when I start to explore for the first battle!

Yeah thats also my name. It messed me up when I watched the video!!!

Good catches also. In the one pic its so cold the bass slime coat looks like it froze up, plus ur beard is frozen. LOL!!!!!
