FISHING SEASON 2K10!!!!!!

Found a little creek that led to a pond, and hooked into a baby tarpon and baby snook. hooking into the baby tarpon was a better feeling then hooking into an adult lmao. first tarpon under 5 LBS!!!

I woke up at 5 this moarning and was out on the pier by 6 a.m. Fished untill 6 p.m.

We hooked a total of 8 skamania, landed 5. Two broke the line, one threw the hook.

Damn nice catches! I thought they were rainbow trouts xD

Landed 3 snakeheads the other day on frogs, missed a bunch of others, they went 6# and two 12's

Hmmmm.... Curious what do you do with these Snakeheads after you catch them, are you eating them, catch and release?

no, they all made it back and were revived

Fly fished yesterday and caught three fish two bass one big bluegill, aproaching 9 inches i think.
None were pic worthy though. one bass shook the hook but it was small.

i rarely fish for bass anymore, but i am going tuesday.

last friday was no exception but i didnt catch a nice smallie. i was jigging a small crappie tube up and down to catch sunfish to cut up for bait for catfish, and then wam. Smallie takes me for a run.

funny thing is, i only caught 2 smallies last year. And both came out of the same exact spot. the bigger one was eaten, the only black bass i have ever kept, and to be honest ill probably never keep another, yuck. The smaller one was 10", so i seriously doubt its the same fish.

Our battle was short but very exciting.

a hair shy of 17" and 2lbs on the nose.

Got ouy for an hour and a half today before the dark nasty rain clouds moved in but managed 2 bass and a NSH, to give you guys an idea of how bad the slop is I took some pictures
