FISHING SEASON 2K12!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I also suffer from fish addiction, but i've started going to F.A. meetings... it usually ends up at a lake though, fisher's anonymous just can't help ourselves!

giving some serious consideration to going out to bond lake in search of that beast that broke my line.. by the time i get out there after class i'd have somewhere in the range of an hour and a half to fish, what do you guys think? worth the $5 for bait and the 15 minute drive?

Thats a Whopper Bass Larry!
Also like the Lake trout MN_Rebel and the carp from Josh and by reading the story's it looks like everyone is enjoying fishing in the early spring.

Finally managed to get the pictures of the perch we caught last friday.
Although my guess that it might have been 4lbs is completely wrong.
I always remember most of my catches bigger then they where on the pics.
But a 17'' European Perch is still a whopper, they tend to stop growing at the size of 20''.
It's closely related to the Yellow Perch so you kinda get the idea.

My next fishing trips are scheduled for Sunday and Tuesday.
Sunday I will spend the entire day trolling at the same water where I caught my monsterpike last year.
Tuesday I have a day off from school that will be spend with fishing out of my own boat.

hope you do good those days, either way thats a nice perch! not 4lbs but still big!

Wish United States would stocking European Perch here or at last just make a fishing trip to Europe. They are larger than the yellow perch we have here.

I thought that yellow perch also tend to stop growing at about the 20inch mark.

or do they get smaller?

Personally I never seen any 20" yellow perch around here, even the waters that popping out 14-16" perch regularly.
