So I have been a little behind on updates to my 125g.

As you can see from the above...stocking is being questioned, but the cool stuff is the projects.

Here are some photos for you guys to enjoy from the start of the lighting/hood project. The pictures of the other half will follow.

Enjoy.

First post gives you an idea of what the tank was looking like before I started this transformation that has been going on, second pic is me working on the fixture, third pic is completed...fourth is just it sitting on top of the tank.

It has since been hung from the ceiling.

Here are some pictures of the tank move before I get ahead of myself.

Gotta get the tank on a stand, and build a good before you can do anything else!

This is us moving the tank over onto the new stand that I built, and the hood that I built...with some help of my brother (thisissimple) and a friend...who is also on this site I think but not aware of his user name.

Enjoy these, while I wrangle up some more pictures of the goodies! :D

So...what happens when you make an order from www.fishneedit.com ?

Ill tell you what...you pay a little more than www.aquatraders.com on a ghettoooo website...BUT...this is what comes in the mail for you!

They send you a ton of stuff.

The fixtures themselves seem to be a little bit wussy.

The hanging kits that they send you, for free, without mentioning it anywhere on their website, seem to be heavy duty, and kickass.

I have not gotten the opportunity to use these, as I built them into my existing hood that I had built.

Dude! You upload more pics right now. I don't have any of the finished lighting and it looks so much better now.

(I like the "with some help from my brother..." This made me chuckle.)

Haha ya I bet it was the other way around...

The pic with both of you in it, it looks like you both are doing the tank not lifting it. lol
