free big catfish need homes/trip to washington to save them

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
***UPDATE***
now that everything is here we needed to keep the tank warm so the acrylic window would not shrink and possibly pop the seems, i talked to john at waterdog products (the people that made the tank) and he said that a 14' piuece of acrylic can and will shrink up to 1/4 " if it got cold so that is why i took the generator and heater, now what i did at home was to hook up the heater to a dedicated plug that i had in my garage for my air compressor, meaning that there is nothing else on a 15 amp breaker except for that 1 plug, so it has enough electricity running to it, and nothing else being turned on in the house will trip that breaker, and then i ran the camera wire into my house and set up a 10" screen to it so i can view the thermometer anytime that i sit at my computer, i just looked over and it is 65 degrees inside the tank and it is 21 degrees outside the tank, so were good for the moment untill i can start the build of the extension on my fishwroom, which will be this summer, so the tank is here, and waiting till summer to build its new home.

Yes! Glad everyone made it back safely. That was one scary trip.
thank you for the concern :) it was definatly a scary trip, at one point i thought we were gonna break the tank, when it slipped of the end of the bobcats forks, but it only slid about 4 inches and quit :)

OMG.... that sounds aweful. I'm glad no one got hurt. So how long are you going to have to heat an empty tank?
also thank you for your concern :) and i think we will have to heat it untill april or may, i have to wait till the rain season is over with to start the digging, to lay the cement pad, then wait for it to dry and then place the tank and stand then finish building around it :)

Rich I will not even try and think about what the possibilities for you and your hobbies are anymore lol. You take it above and beyond with everything you do. WRITE A BLOG OR A BOOK ON ALL OF YOUR FISH ENCOUNTERS. I think MFK would sell a ton lol.
