more pics and info

1. taped all the edges of the contact paper, and started to put the styrofoam sheets on, to protect it and insulate it on the trip home

2. finishing the styro so we can heat the inside of the fishtank, we brought a electric heater, and a generator, and a security camera with a temp gauge taped to the inside off the tank, so once it was sealed, we can heat the inside, and view the temp gauge, to make shure it stays warm, the generator was in the back of the truck with a extension cord ran to it.

3. starting to shrinkwrap the styro onto the tank, we brought it up halfway,

4. then we shrinkwrapped the tops on.

Wow that's awesome

now that we are on our way home, let me tell you guys a little about it.
it took us 16.5 hours to drive home because of 3 reasons,

1. we first took off and as soon as we hit the highway, i started to get up to speed and then it happened, the trailer went all haywire on us and jerk violently back and forth, jerking the back of the truck back and forth and at on time it actually came up onto 2 whhels on one side of the trailer, i tried stopping by hitting the brakes and thats when it got worse, so i let off the brakes and it slowed down a bit so i let off the gas completely and it all stopped, it took about 15 seconds of throwing me around to get it all kalmed down, but we saved the tank, but we now could not go over 53 miles an hour all the way home.

2. the truck hardly pulled the tank, so every hill we hit, it slowed to 35 miles an hour and i had to shift down to second,

3. we went up hills for about 2 hours into P.A. and then the snow storm hit, it was so bad that we were down to 15-20 miles an hour and there were no street lights on rt80 there, so i could barely see, were traveling slow as can be, and then i started seeing things, i dont know if it was my lack of sleep, or just the snow playing tricks on my eyes or the fact that i was sooooo cold, it was so cold out side that the truck barely put off any heat, and what was coming out of the dash i had to direct to the windshield to keep the frost from forming, so i ended up opening the window to keep me awake and was just driving sooo damm cold that when i thought i saw a truck with no lights on the middle of the highway i slammed on my brakes and slid with the tank for about 20 foot, and there was nothing there, i could only see about 20 foot in front of the truck and it was snowing so hard, i was tired, cold, and miserable. and from that point all i could think of was pulling over tp find a place to sleep, but i kept on going,

4. now the new problem, im driving this truck and sliding all over the highway, and the tank weighs close to 4000 lbs on the trailer behind me with no trailer brakes, the trailer plug on the trailer was a 4 prong plug and the plug on the truck was a round 6 prong plug, well we bought a adapter to have b rake lights and so on, but the adaptor did not let the trailer brakes work, so if i started to go down a steep hill, even at 20 miles an hour and i tried stopping or slowing down the 4000 pound tank was just going to keep on pushing us till we hit the bottom of the hill, there was no way i was going to stop it, so at the top of every hill i had to slow almost to a stop to see over it to tell if it was too steep, and the only thing i was going to do was pull over at the top of the hill and just sleep in the truck till daylight and the snow melted before attemting any more driving. but as i was going slow with the driving a huge snow plow came onto the road right ahead of my and we follwed that for a while, it was definatly a scary night.

we finally made it home, now the problem was that i bought 1 trailer and borrowed another so we could not just park them and go to sleep, we had to get the stand off of the trailer

1. backing the stand and trailer into my driveway

2. it weighed 3000lbs and is 14' x 7' x 36" we had no way of getting it off the trailer, so we tied the stand to a 4x4 fence post at the ground and then tied the other end of the strap to the bottom of the stand, and tried pulling the trailer forward and that worked,

3. you can see that we used 6x6 post and 4x4 post to keep the stand from tipping, then at the end we put a 6x6 on the ground so the stand didnt crack any of my newer cement on my driveway, also we set the stand on cheap plastic sleds that we got from kmart for about 8 dollers apiece

4. then we tied the stand to my 4 wheeler (a 2009 grizzly 700) and then i pulled the stand sliding across the ground with richie and jim keeping it from tipping over with the 4x4's to where it is leaning on the backside of my other house, so it is in the backyard right by my fishroom
