freshwater flounder okay?

what and how did you get your flounders to eat? they’ve only been here 2 days but they got no feelings to eat, they guys lay there and ignore the blood worms i throw down
For big flounder I would try target feeding with live earthworms.

though is there any actualy reason why they're so hard to keep? is it just stress related or is it actually something wrong with parameters or temp? Im currently keeping them in my 250g with the tiger morays and they also are relatively hard to keep but they've been thriving

I would consider stress from other tankmates.
And such things are done that instead of freshwater flounder you get brackish flounder.

I see, is there anything I could do before separating them? my 10g probably cant keep them happy and I'm not so sure about keeping them in my QT

that would be disastrous if they were brackish

I have mine with a tiger moray too and he’s doing fine. I tried spot feeding and absolutely nothing. But they are still alive somehow but I am worried also. My only other set up is my shrimp tank at the moment with Monte Carlo so I don’t want that churned up.

Species that will be safe in fresh water: bigger species: hypoclinemus mentalis, catathyridium jenynsii and from smaller species brachirus harmandi, synaptura selheimi .Problem is that brackish species are very simillar to freshwater species...
