ill try bloodworms again, the two left are 3" and 5"In community tank flounder is weak to feeding, it often kills it.I bought a smaller species and it eats frozen bloodworms.
I would consider stress from other tankmates.though is there any actualy reason why they're so hard to keep? is it just stress related or is it actually something wrong with parameters or temp? Im currently keeping them in my 250g with the tiger morays and they also are relatively hard to keep but they've been thriving
I see, is there anything I could do before separating them? my 10g probably cant keep them happy and I'm not so sure about keeping them in my QTI would consider stress from other tankmates.

And such things are done that instead of freshwater flounder you get brackish flounder.
Species that will be safe in fresh water: bigger species: hypoclinemus mentalis, catathyridium jenynsii and from smaller species brachirus harmandi, synaptura selheimi .Problem is that brackish species are very simillar to freshwater species...that would be disastrous if they were brackish
I’ve got 2 Leptachirus darwiniensis. Very active and even playful but doesn’t ever eat what I give it.
