Dang it! I think pops is right though, I think that IS a lynx eating with that groundhog, next to that baby lion :)

Groundhogs plague my garden, sometimes I have to give them some frontier justice. Here's a trash panda for you.

we get both possem and racoons here. they have no issues eating the cat food or dog food if left out side. my understanding is nutrie and are getting to be a large pest. esp in the south. they are in the capybary family and get quite large.

We have a nice population of possums and raccoons here too....and a few skunks but the groundhogs eating foods other than grass and dandelions blows my mind.I guess with those chompers they can eat what ever they want.
I have heard that nutria are hunted for their fur and meat which us said to be tasty.

apparently not hunted enough,, and sorry I do not eat rodent. this to include bears. bear just a big dang rodent.

Lol,possibly not.I would give it a try though...bear too.

I got mad at me brother inlaw one Christmas, ok, many Christmases, but any ways, He told my son that bears are related to pigs and good eating, this pure popycock, closest relative to a bear is wombat. it is not hooved mammal. It has paws. not hoofs. now like a pig it will eat anything, it does not taste like a pig or any way shape or form gen related to a pig.

So,you've had bear,Pops?
