Gar Identification - Post your Gar to be ID'd HERE!!

All of my gars ate white mosquito larva right from the start.
I have a few feeders in the tank but they only eat the larvas.
The white ones are floating at the surface so they can eat them easy.
When they get a little bigger they will eat almost anything you throw in.
I feed them two times a day 4 small blocks and my 3 cubans are growing fast.
The same thing i had done a few years ago with 3 florida gars without any feeding problems.

He ate 3 minnows already! I can see the difference in his weight overnight :) so thanks everyone. A few more of those and I'll start trying him on other foods again, I feel comforted knowing he's eaten and not about to drop.

its a spatula !
The most sellers in Germany have absolutely no idea what they are selling !
I told 2 lfs guys that they sell spatulas to the people with the name of the cuban gar but they are not willing to learn anything.
I have 3 cuban gars at the same size and they look totaly different.
Panta rhei in Germany had 5 of them maybe there is one left .

Okay, Yeah thats true!! This one is from "Diskusmann". I am searching a cuban in germany for a long time... do you bred the gars?

the only one that had real cubans was panta rhei and they are about 100 euro each !
For 20-30 Euro it is never a cuban gar.
Panta rhei had 5 cubans and i bought 3 of them.
I think they can import some more for you if there is no one left, just call them.
I will post a picture of mine than you see the difference.
