it only looks to be 6-8" long. it's a Florida gar, washed out colors as it's stressed, he probably just moved it in but I don't see stunting, needs to be fed thoughthen what do you think? that is 100% not a gator, body shape and fins don't look like a shortnose. the other option would be longnose but this snout doesn't seem to be that long. and there are also spots on the back of this fish, this fish is stressed and most likely stunted.
