florida or spotted ?

were on sale as spotted what do you guys think ?

great looking specimens! i would say FLG as most gars that look like that internationally are most likely to be that species. i have not heard of true spotteds being available overseas anywhere, and haven't seen any evidence indicating otherwise. without inspecting each fish in person, it is difficult to be 100% certain, but given the photos and what we know about the fish trade in general, i would say 99.9% they are FLGs--

Thanks Solomon I thought they were for the reasons you've said,had them around a month and they have grown from around 10.5" to roughly 13" now eating everything I put in lol.
 
Saw these for sale on the internet... I want to say YOY Longnose, but it something about the picture makes me feel it might just be a weird angle on a YOY Florida?

yeah, i would say YOY FLG...unless they are farmed it would be too early for that size YOY LNG in most cases. that and the snout looks just a little too short for LNG. at least that's my take on it--
