Hi Guys,

I picked up 2 new gars last night and was wondering if you could ID them for me.
They are still a little washed out as they have only been in the tank for around 10 Hrs.
They were sold to me as Spotted/Florida Gars.

I believe these 2 are short nose gar!

it's a tougher than usual call, but i would say Florida gars...the pelvic fins (and caudal peduncle) aren't the typical length of SNG's and the body is much stouter even with the somewhat odd pattern...pattern seems close to that of older captive FLGs though.--
