Not up to the standard of Lou of course;)
Brother, I have to say it: This picture is the best I've seen of George yet... Kudos to the lady! :)

The next step is catching the fish when he's facing in your direction ;)

Now I can see who will be making the most of that D90... :grinno:

Wow! That snakehead is awesome! Any chance of seeing a full tank shot of that monster tank? How big is it? And what's the filtration? :)

I didn't do much, I have had it sitting outside my place for months, gave it a wash and scrub with clean water before I put it in. If it wasn't as big I would have pre soaked it :)

Lou, just make sure you boil it, all the evil nasties will die out
I'm trying to find a nice piece to put in my tank... saw some branches lying in the empty lot beside my house and I'm thinking of checking whether I could find something nice there... I know that they have been lying there (in the rain and sun) for more than a year now...

About boiling, I don't know whether I could find a big enough pot to do that...

A kettle and the bath is what we use on large pieces

Lou - just place the branch in the bathroom tub, fill to cover the greatest amount of wood and begin filling the tub with straight hot water, then start water boiling on the stove and pour the boiling water over the exposed areas of the branch. Soak for about 4~6 hours then rotate the piece and soak overnight,. Remember to weight the piece to keep it down, if the piece of wood is fully dead and rotten, you should be able to soak it enough in 24 hrs to obtain neutral buoyancy. If the piece is really difficult to cover in water, like my 5FT grapevine piece was then just take the piece and a few dollars to your local Carwash and offer the guy that steams up the tires a few bucks if he would blast your wood for a few minutes, pressurized steam will do the trick PDQ! Plus the steam will clean up all the loose bark, that you don't want in the tank anyway.

Dude I never said I would stop exporting Shovels, especially since theres knowone else to take over. I just stated that I may have stopped shipping out directly, I'll just keep up the wholesale end.

I know you just thought that carwashes were only for cars! And ppl should refill there C02 canisters at there LFS and not at there local Fire Extinguisher sales office.
