I SAW A FOOT LONG ONE AT THE LFS FOR $50. IT LOOKS LIKE AN ALBINO BUT NO RED EYES AND HAS A FEW GREY SCALS ON EACH SIDE OF HIS BODY. IS THAT NORMAL?

If the eyes are not red then it's not albino

Time for an update:

The below video was taken on Saturday, since then after a huge water change and glass clean up he's gone on hunger strike which in the past has only resulted in one thing a huge growth spurt, this is indeed worrying ,the plan was to extend the house this year and comfortably spend time building the new tank whilst he was happy in there. With my impending work doom an extension(now on hold) and the fact he normally puts on 2-3'' inches when fasting(I don't get that either) is not good, not a problem when he was smaller but 2-3'' is a big deal at this size. We could have a space problem soon. Time will tell...

Sorry about the poor video quality my relatively new camera only shoots HD and I'm having a nightmare trying to get to look acceptable in anything other than raw let alone youtube format.

Nice...he sure is a powerful eater...I see the plume of cheese water he pumps out...PCH does the same thing only on a smaller scale...and not with cheese yet...still on pellets, krill, bloodworms and shrimp...

Cheese is bad, it craps the tank up and then some......still it'll give master tequila something to comment about I'm surprised you can get food through to PCH in that tank with the stock

Only in the UK would they ever think of feeding there fish Cheese.

I feed all non processed items just the way it comes from the market. Except when food is frozen, I thaw it first. So, yes I feed raw and sometimes with the shells on except the tails.

Now in the UK they feed there fish raw Cheese and cooked Breakfast Saugages over there. (..............................................)

Yes, not often and tailless
