all they want to do is eat temperament reminds me of oscars it cam vary but for the most part not overly aggressive towards anything they cant eat

my GG is a picky eater and not aggressive at all. any pics of ur GG?

yeah mine takes shrimp, smelt, worms, massivore, beefheart, pretty much anything if he's in the mood

Here are a couple of pictures of the one I have. I rescued it a little over a year ago. It is around 18" - 20". Can't really see it in the pictures but it has some pretty decent little teeth.

Lowcel, nice GG, how old is it? Also like your bifasciatus, but what is the other big vieja in the video? BTW my gg is also in a tank with a bifasciatus, that makes two of us

Mine seems to eat everything that I put in but is partial to fruits and vegetables. Doesn't mind any tankmates except for one oscar that she chases at every opportunity.

We always have Lettuce, mango, banana in but any fruit and veg on offer will do

Don't worry about not eating, this is normal before a large growth

Lowcel, nice GG, how old is it? Also like your bifasciatus, but what is the other big vieja in the video? BTW my gg is also in a tank with a bifasciatus, that makes two of us

I believe it is around four years old or so, not real sure. If anyone is ever in the Charleston, WV and would like it and can provide a good home for it they are more than welcome to it. I'm afraid of it being hurt or killed by some of the other fish in the tank.

The other vieja is a vieja maculicauda, aka black belt.
