GIANT gouramis

Hi all! Am new to this forum! Recently was looking for some big n easy to keep fishes n i got myself this little fellow. Its currently in a grow out 45gal tank. Will transfer the fellow to a 200gal tank once it hits 5-6inches. Will also be looking out for a white gg n a nice rtgg n hopefully, i can get them to live peacefully in the 200gal with some fast barbs to distract thier aggression.

Shy little fellow for the moment. Freaked out when i whip out my camera. So please pardon me for the lousy shots!

Its little hideout with a little pleco for it to bully. When i got it a week ago, it could turn around in the cave, now i think it have doubled in size n could barely fit anymore.

Cute little GG. I have tinfoil barbs to act as target fish but my GG Casper ignores them and fights with all 4 of my Oscars. He can dish out a real hiding at times. I can't wait for him to calm down...

What have you called your GG???

Yeah yeah! Hopefully it'll double or triple its current size. Feeding it pellets twice a day n 2-3 cubes of frozen blood worm

Famous ? I do have videos of my GG on youtube but i didnt know i was Famous..sweeet...

my GG's did not like dog food. plus it clouds the water too much.

yeah, before i purchase my first GG , i did a search on youtube and saw piggy. Piggy is a great looking fish. more details on piggy; size , age, tank info?

Clouds the water? It doesnt have a chance in my tank, piggy eats it right away and i only feed one piece at a time. Its a treat to him...
Thats cool you researched GG's and found my piggy on youtube.
Hes about 27"L x 3"(thick)x about 14" dorsal to anal fin(guessing)
5 1/2 years old
Tank is a 240gal with lots of africans(he loves his african friends)
Thank you, i dont really like the really pointy heads and huge lips of most GG's , piggy has a shorter head than most(still has big lips tho lol).
