GIANT gouramis

Seems like a lot of people on here like their giant gouramis... I've got a question for all then... We have Bert, he's a touch over two foot, and we just got Gus today who's about 17". Gus is quaranteened in a 125 for a bit and I was considering putting him in with Bert in the 1200... What do guys suggest? Icidently we have Little Bert who's about 7"... He's in with Gus at the moment
It's a bit of a risk, the easy way to try it if they already have tank mates they tend to be ok. Keep an eye on them if you mix them, when we had George and Georgina they went really well, after her growing her out a bit but at the time George was on a fasting period and when he started eating again her beat her up within an inch of her life.

Any pics?

Here's one of Bert and a few pacus that found a great home...

Haha.... Yes, I rescued them and held them here for a bit and found them a home in Indiana in a HUGE indoor pond.

Here's a picture of Gus, just rescued today.

And "little bert" Rescued a few months ago from someone who tried to keep him with a bunch of heavy hitter cichlids. See the scar...

Looking good race.

Is there damaged scales on the side of your RTGG or is the color?

Your right, it will not show up very well for a good couple of weeks. Grace was almost white in the LFS and has only started to go dark in the last week or so.

Don't worry about the anal fin, it will grow back. Hope they get on, I'm guessing not.

The scales r fine. Its just the colour.;)
