GIANT gouramis

Sorry lah! I seriously wanna' get a tank that size and start stocking up on bigger fishes. Came across some RTGGs the other day, $15 for 2-3" specimens. I don't know whether to try and DIY a plywood 6x3x2.5 or just save up. I'm 19 so it's really hard to get 2.5k :c

PLYWOOD? we toking about A TON of water here! About the weight of a small car! R u staying in singapore?

$2.5k is with cabinet. Can try calling for quotations for tank with wrought iron stand n sump setup. Should be cheaper. Can also look out for 2nd hand tanks. Should be 1/2 of the price.

I don't know whether my house will hold the weight. I live on the 2nd floor of an HDB. Maybe plywood isn't such a good idea after all. I'm looking for 2nd hand ones. Found a seller a few months ago with a 5ft tank, was about $260. Just the tank. I want something bigger cos' i intend to stock with african arowanas, ggs and gars. But really, nice tank man, envy you :/

Save up as much as u can n get the biggest tank that u can afford. Once u have the tank, u will know wat u can keep. The big tank can come later. Dun compare n envy others, make use of wat u have n enjoy the hobby! Or better still, make others envy u!:)

Awesome photos, I can see the freckles on the RTGG are the same as Grace has got, coloring up nicely.
