GIANT gouramis

Has anyone realizes that the red eyed albino giant gourami's body is much shorter than the giant golden gourami?

Maybe cause there not the same fish?

Actually they are the same fish. The golden is still O.goramy, just a color variation. The size of an albino compared to any other color variation of O.goramy depends on the individual fish....(assuming your talking about the red eye albino being O.goramy)

Could you even tell the difference from O.goramy and O.laticlavius if not for the difference in color? If O.laticlavius had no red tail or fins(albino),could you tell the difference if it was side by side to an albino O.goramy?

Easier than the other comparison due the fact that O.lat is considerably smaller.

Still, depends on the individual fish. Some O.goramy do not reach their full size and if compared to an albino O.lati of the same size, would you know the difference?

it's kind of an anti climax when you realize your GG won't grow to be the giant it's supposed to be hahah...

With proper care, theres no reason to believe your GG wont reach its max size. All i was saying is, individual fish will grow individually, some will grow huge, some not so huge.
