They are veggies, feed them bananas, lettuce, mango etc. they need veg, they will eat all the other stuff but in the wild they eat veg and berries. They will eat anything but if you want monsters then crank up the veg, George can go through a 1/4 of a lettuce without problem a day. I've just chucked in 8 leaves before I come on to the pc, they won't be there in the morning:WHOA:

Ok, here's my questions about your fishies: what are there sizes? what size tank are they in now? what is the temp of the water? And why are you feeding them the freeze dried foods instead of live? Whatelse is in the tank with them? I may have a few more questions, but thats it for now.

And as for the Veggy thing don't worry too much about that now.

1-1.5"
10 gallon quarantine tank...then it's on to the 120 grow-out...

81-82f

They do have live guppies, as well as frozen and freeze dried bloodworms.
They prefer the FD BW over Frozen and live guppies. I also have a sprig of iceberg lettuce for them, but they just chomp here and there on it...

nothing but them and what's left of the guppies...

Are you asking me? I thought you knew this already, as you've quoted me I'll answer, ignore if not directed at me?

Size 12-13'' (just measured scientifically, with a ruler chasing the fish around the tank;))
Tank is a 116 usg, not including canister volume
Temp is 28 or 82 depending on your scale
No tank mates, just 3 pieces of wood and gravel
On veg diet for 2 reasons, firstly it's more suited to what they would eat in the wild and secondly it's cheap. Just go to the supermarket on the way home and pick up all the reduced veg and fruit with a day or two life left for 20p and throw it in the tank.

Before anyone says that the tank is too small for a GG, this will be addressed next year when I build a new one. Yes the tank is to small for a 3/4-fully grown gg but it's not even halve way there yet and the tank is over filtered. The tank is more than big enough for one at about a 1/3 size

Holy technicolor batman;)

Once they get use to the lettuce they'll be no stopping them.
Pomegranate seeds were reduced the other day, they went down nicely:)
