Unless thats more of a deformity, but at sies it's difficult to sex for sure. Originlly I thought I hd four girls until they hit 8+ inches and all took on good strong features. I still have a female that color wise would make for a good male.

As we've got two EEGG here, it's almost impossible to tell except they aren't the same, all we've got to go off is the RTGG as a base.

Unless I move to socal or visa versa and we get huge tank to see if they breed ,I don't know, although captive breeding is something I've not researched much I know it's very hard/impossible to do.

There are very few things that are impossible to do with fish, and rarely is breeding one of them. Where theres a will theres a way.

Done a bit of reading up on the subject. Basically all you really need to do is drop the tank level by 1/2, reduce water flow to a minimum and make sure there is plant matter available for the nest. Sit back and relax

I missed a bit. Remove the female once the eggs are laid as the male becomes very protective of the nest.

Pier aquatics got some elephant ears in. These are the real deal niel assures me and i take his word, he was saying that young exodon show some red colouration on the fins and a black spot which o. goramy doesnt heres a few pix of my new one

Not too sure on the red on the fins. Mine didn't have any color and went black, Zen was the same. Not trying to upset anyone here just my first look that's all.

Are you treating the split dorsal? Looks like a complete split on the picture?
