Giant Grouper a.k.a. Bumble Bee Grouper
A very unique and nice behavior kind of fish, know the owner very well. A smart fish.
Size: app. 24 inches
Feed on smaller fish that can fit on his mouth and I never feed him with live stock
100% fresh water and seem to be happy in the fresh water
App. 1,5 years old
Max size >1,5 mtr

Groupers are one of my favorite specie of fish, once had a Panther Grouper that kept me amused

@oddball: thank's, I'll. Last week he just got a stomachache probably I feed him with oversize fish (app.7 inches) but now he's ok & will go back to feed him with max 4 inches

I wish these guys were manageably sized, they're beautiful fish. You're doing good with that guy.

I think u might have to move em into salt or altleast brackish when they grow, but I have read somewhere about an 8 inch max size fully freshwater grouper species, that are endemic to papua new guinea.
