Why not drill anotherr hole in each weir ? And do a herbie. Definitely start a build thread. If these guys can get me sump literate then anything is possible
I don't think a herbie will work in my situation, the overflow boxes are pretty small and are already pretty packed with the two holes, a third for the emergency drain wouldn't fit.

You could use both of the bulkheads in the overflow as drains and drill another hole for the return. Just some suggesrions but you def wanna run this in another thread so the sump masters can chime in. I definitly could be wrong but if you run each overflow to sperate sumps what happens if one of your drains gets clogged ? Then one drain and sump would need to handle the flow of both returns/pumps couldnt that be a problem.

Yeah there are definitely issues the setup brings up. I've done some reading and it seems that the pipe connecting the two sumps is all you really need. Going to start a thread tonight.
