Gold Saum

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Aside from the silly gt debate. I think they're too young to have an idea on potential though. Ime with them, you usually get one stunner out of a large group of them. The rest will grow slower and not show too much color. But I talking about in large groups of juveniles. Like, 10+. Around 3" one will really stand out.
These guys don't look too big though. My guess is one will outshine the other. With the other obviously being subordinate.

I think you can tell at a very early age if they will be nice or not.
When I got my group I was on the look out for ages. I saw lots of washed out looking juveniles. When I bought mine they were about 50 mm long. They stood head and shoulders above any I had seen before and we're very nicely coloured even at that size.

Thanks Percy,
I hope he does not grow a big hump.I am not keen on them to be honest.

ok, so this has been up for debate for a long time as well, my only questions are
1.) when was Aquidens changed to Andinoacara? and
2.) Does anyone have pix of the 3rd species, the Silver Saum?
