dam it, iam sooo busy at moment i had forgot and have things to do this weekend and work.......how did i forget
Update the chunkier one<were calling male> is still there gaurding the area, when i lifted up the lid to check he took some in his mouth from the outer ring and moved to the inner ring, ive left everything as before to see what they do without being disturbed,,theres another two white ones.one is below the ring and the other is on the inner section, but think i wont bother them any more, mother nature and instints running this show
Bear in mind i had just feed these guys with meal worms so little fat

The eggs are still there, they all changed position

OK an update, didnt do it before but left a thermomitor in the tank last night,just checked it now and the temp is between 20-21c, this is just below suface,not sure about deeper down as do not want to disturb the channa....

Also I have been watching them and he keeps picking them up in his mouth then about 30secs to 1minute later spits the eggs out from his gill's backwoods. Where they float back up into the feeding ring :blink:
cheers col, another question, as i do not want to mess this up, do you think i should preform waterchanges or wait til there free swimming, then how often and how much? Do you preform waterchanges with your snakehead fry?
i would not change the water for the next month , give them time to develop , the first month is there weakest , after that everything should be plain sailing
