Way to go wayne, I thought that one wouldn't take long, to be creul I could have just posted the male. heheh.
As far as I could find there is only the one member of the genus, Shinisaurus crocodilurus, I would not have had a clue where to even start without FishnThings answer.

i dont feel like postin a pic, i like guessin more, i know its part of the game but hey i didnt know the right species so your turn guppy! 
I had no clue until you steered me that way but here is a strange one I found a couple days ago. it is a live bearer, nonvenomous, and a little over 3' long.
Hey Wayne, you are very close, right genus wrong species, this one maxes out at a meter. the javan wart snake (A. javanicus) gets to 1 1/2 m for males and 2 1/2 m for females.
