I don't believe it was a misspelling, but it's certainly possible with my keyboard and a torn UCL in my right thumb.

Regardless, I think it's more likely that people are not noticing that this species has in the past 50 years or so been placed in three different genera, two with very similar spelling -- Rhamnophis & Rhamphiophis. I mentioned earlier it has been places in three genera with the third being Thrasops (a genus that is notorious having members mistaken for Boomslangs).

When I paste Rhamnophis aethiopissa into Google Images it automatically changes the terms to Thamnophis aethiopica and I get Lillies. You have to make sure it uses the correct spelling.

So again to research this species you need to do both Google and Google Image searches. And you need to use two spellings for the generic names. Rhamnophis and Rhamphiophis.

Or you can just click on the direct links I provided a couple of posts above. I assume in those cases Google won't change the search terms. But one has to make sure of that.

If I did misspell, I apologize for the confusion. Typing has been pretty difficult recently.
