Guess what kind of Reptile

I live normally in ~400 sqft because of the cost of living near SF, not a ton of room for major breeding projects.

So I bought a warehouse and keep all my animals in there.

U should do some U.v permeable glass skylights in your green house (Omaha zoo uses them in the lied jungle)

I find what looks like legless lizards in my yard under boards, etc laying on the ground. They are under 6 inches, black and very smooth. You can barely see eyes or mouth, only the direction it crawls gives you an idea that end is the head, any idea? Might even be a snake but I doubt it. (sorry, no pics)
