Guess what monster fish this is

I'm guessing a channa but I just got back and haven't started looking yet.
 
Ya snuck in a cold water one ya rat, It is a burbot, (lota lota) here's a couple of pics, one from a site called "Fishing In Montana" the same pic you posted, lol. I put my glasses on and saw the chin barbel and recognized it from catching small "lawyers" in Hart river in North Dakota.
Give me a minute and I will post something.

Okay, a hint it is a warm water, fresh water fish that is eaten and exceeds a foot in length.

Hey wait a minute, milkfish are coastal saltwater diatom feeders that have planktonic eggs, they are eaten and warmwater but they are definitly not freshwater.
