Well, I'm going to try to revive this thread, here is an "other fish" fresh water, not a cichlid, cat, cold water, or ancient.

I would say it is a trout cod, probably Maccullochella macuerensis instead of M. peeli because of the dark band through they and the pale edging on the fins and tail.
