I wish I was there you can get Gulpers to release by essentially squeezing their cheeks. By the time I got home the Aro was fully consumed.

Look at that belly!Just when you think you have figured out the gulper's capasity, they up the anty. Sorry for your loss. Those catfish are simply amazing.
Sorry about the Lei, but that is friggin awesome. Dance with the Gulper and you just might get your toes stepped on!!!!
I think so just make sure its wider than it's mouth. Pacu's, Silver Dollars, and the like would be good tankmates as well as other wide-headed cats. Like Trachycorystes, Liosomadoras(Jaguar cats) and heavily armored cats like Megalodoras and O. Niger. Just leave no slender-bodied fish which can be folded in half ie Arowanas, Polpepterus, Pike cichlids and the like in with one as the cat will bend it in half to ingest it.
