Gulper eats 8" Leichartdi Arowana

Well I just gave my 3" Gulper a $130 feeder. I put the poor Arowana yesterday and no prob's. I go to Mcdonalds for lunch and come back to find my Gulper also had lunch. My new Leichartdi was on the menu. Some how the son of a gun ate my 8 inch Aro. I desperately tried to retrieve him to no avail. He was already in the Gulpers belly. So now I'm postin these pics to document this tragedy so people will learn from my mistakes no matter how unlikely you think it is no matter how gentle your Gulper seems no 8" Aro's with 3" Gulpers. Mine lives peacefully with 2" Woodcats, 6" Jaguar cats , 4" Stingrays, 6" Megalodoras, 6" Tachy's and a 4" Rhinodoras. Never even tried to eat them. He hand feeds very gently and is very clumsy at least that's the image he portrays. For inside is a fish eatin devil not to be trusted. Goodbye Lei didn't even have time to give you a name

man that really sucks even a freakin 3" gulper can handle suckin up a 8" Aro...man thats pretty wicked and hardcore for a lil fat gulper of that size! I was planning on getting a Leichardti myself a few weeks ago around my area but no luck but then saw an LFS with a couple Gulpers around 6" and was planning on get one for my catfish tank but figured it won't fit in the tank for temporary plus it would eat my Hybrid catfish, RTC, Managuense, Synspilum and such...=/ Sorry for your loss tho
 
I know exactly how u feel. I bought 2 small lei 3 years ago when they were 175each + shipping for 3" lei. Put them in and the first night a 2.5" marbled pim ate them both. i have never eevn had that expensive of a meal.
 
i brought one from him too lerchardti 8",and my gulper is 9",but mine was fine
