oo = male
oO = female
Some species males have a triangulated pecker hole

Venting rules for severums are going to be just about the same for any cichlid.
Both holes are the same size on makes, while one is larger in females.
Severums do show sexual dimorphism though, and generally you can tell without venting.
Pictures of the fish and their vents will help.

I attached 9 severum pictures of whole picture of fish and venting picture of fish. I added numbers in pictures. Please check and identify severum fishes.

Seriously though some of them are a tough call for sure. My thoughts with percentage of certainty

I’m inclined to agree with danotaylor
Definitely hard to tell for sure. Line bred morphs are always difficult because they lose a lot of their distinctive features.

We both are thinking the same on above numbers. They are easy to tell

As per venting 6th one(4.3 inches) is actually 100% Female i attached the better picture of 6th
As per venting 3rd one(5.5 inches) is 100% Male(oo) why because anus and vent size is 100% same

I have a doubt on 7th one(5.7 inches) and 2nd one(5.5 inches) I thought both are Male why because anus and vent wide length is same but vent is larger than anus

As per venting 1st one(6 inches) i thought it’s male why because anus and vent wide length is 100% same but vent is larger than anus
