Both sex’s get that black throat and belly and fin edges when they’re in breeding mode or protecting a nest etc
Mom (I assume) is still guarding. I’ve been feeding 3 times a day because the fish are always hungry. Water changes really stir up all the algae in the tank, and for days after it’s all foggy, so I am not using the gravel vac anymore.
Haven’t seen any fry yet. The water is super super dirty, yet clean because I do wc every few days. The water is just full of algae. I can see it from the top, but not quite from the side. It’s quite water
There is a massive algae bloom, and it’s super hard to see anything. When should I expect to see fry?
