HELP!!!!!! aro is still alive

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea somthing changed I did check everything this morning and it was perfect. Nitrite 0, ammonia 0, nitrate 15, and ph 7.1, can phosphate affect your fish? because its off the chart over 10 ppm because a 50% water change and it still read 10ppm. that is why I added the pad to my filter

How's your aro's behaving now?/ breathing fast and heavy?

breathing slow little slower than normal. still sitting vertically on his nose. he is responsive his eyes will look at me and when i moved him he tryed to get away from the net. he didn't try to swim this mornig

I did a 50% change in my 220 then I did a 50% change in my 29 so I could move him over there. the nitrates were a little high. the temp was exactly the same 82 degrees i check with a digital thermometer

I suggest adding more aceration in there for the aro and observe further. No more chemical of any sort plus no feeding for now. I dun think he'll eat anyway.

I did add more airation forgot to mention that. I covered the tank with a towel to keep te stress down and I will just observe for now. thanks alot for your help this site is the greatest when it comes to help waterwolves I haven't gotten one post yet.. thanks again guys

Just try to intro ore oxygen into the tank for the aro. I worry that too much water changes plus the previous chemical attack may causes some harm to the gills.
