Help me I.D. this baby cichlid?

Hello, so I managed to get into contact with the person who gave me the fish and I asked him where he had purchased the fish so long story short I spoke to the manager of the lfs and went down there and showed him a pic and he told me it was a juvenile cuban cichlid, mystery finally solved lol

Doesn't surprise me to be tetracanthus, as youngsters, telling them apart from haitiensus is nearly impossible, they are so closely related.
Below tetracanthus

now haitiensus

juvie

its only as they mature differences become obvious
adult haitiensus

adult tetracanthus

I'd still say Haitian hope you keep him, good luck.

thank you for the replies, to be honest even if the fish turns out to be a haitiensis id still be very happy, I plan on keeping the fish, either species seems inetersting to keep. I just upgraded the baby fish to spare 29 gallon tank I have set up, the water is at 82 with lots of hiding spots

Hello, just thought I would give you guy's and updated pic of the cuban or haitiensis, he's been eating much better the last couple days, before I wasn't even sure if he or she was eating lol and much less afraid of me when I go to the tank lol
