I think he should be suspended for that, he was looking to kill that kid, and the other guy wanted no part of it, not to mention the 2 middle fingers he gave to the crowd. Don't get me wrong I love hockey fights, but not garbage like that.

Kill the kid? That is a little far...It was an all out brawl (very common in hockey) Nowhere near as bad as the guys who use their stick, or skate as a weapon. He used his hands. No one is saying he is right ,wrong, cool ,or tool. His dad is very famous, and to me, the thing that jumped out at me first was, his dad is going to kick his a**.....

Go back and take a loo at the tape, did the other goalie ever show any signs that he wanted to fight? I know fights are common in hockey, I am a big fan of the "silly sport" (from an earlier post), but looking at how he was an all out aggressor, and the other kid never wanted to fight, I think he was being a bully, and a sore loser (his team lost 10-1) do you think that had anything to do with his anger?

Without seeing the game, there is no telling....I have seen one goalie skate all the way down to the other crease and get it going all alone a hundred times...Sometimes the goalies just do it..:nilly: Not saying I agree or understand, but it is what it is...And to clarify, I don't think it was me who called it a "silly sport"...

No, I didn't mean you spizz, I didn't have the direct quote in my post thats why I didnt say who it was from. I just think after watching that, Roy was pissed cuz he got lit up, wanted to fight, so he picked somebody out (who obviously didn't want to fight) and beat him up, even when the kid was on the ground covering up, he kept on punching him, and then gave everyone the finger. Imagine if that was your kid, taking the "high road" and not getting in a meaningless fight at the end of a blow-out game, and Patrick Roy's son decides to be a hero and go beat your kid up. To me that pretty weak.
