No, I didn't mean you spizz, I didn't have the direct quote in my post thats why I didnt say who it was from. I just think after watching that, Roy was pissed cuz he got lit up, wanted to fight, so he picked somebody out (who obviously didn't want to fight) and beat him up, even when the kid was on the ground covering up, he kept on punching him, and then gave everyone the finger. Imagine if that was your kid, taking the "high road" and not getting in a meaningless fight at the end of a blow-out game, and Patrick Roy's son decides to be a hero and go beat your kid up. To me that pretty weak.

It is weak a bit, but the kid seemed to have taken 0 actual blows...He flailed well...lol The second dude got beat...

ok I just rewatched it.. in all seriousness that last shot on the kid when he's on the ground is pretty bad, will result in additional games suspended. The white team's defenseman got more than he bargained for tho when he went after Roy after he beat the goalie down!

Hockey fights are tradition - over 100 years in the sport. Brawls are the exception, not the rule, and they happen infrequently. A typical hockey fight is between 2 guys of the same size who want to go. When one player attacks another, that player is usually suspended, much like any other league.

I'm not argueing against fights in hockey, they are part of the game, and I love the game, I just thought his actions were unneccesary, and unprovoked. My initial feeling on the suspensions are that they are a little soft, but at least they did something.
