Seriously though. I have been dealing with a mouse problem for the past few months, ever since this crappy restaurant moved in below my apartment building. Yes, they've been reported, but the city seems happy just giving out citations and making money :irked:. We've tried everything to rid them, but they just keep coming. Anyways, my wife left out a bowl with a small amount of cooking oil in it, and these stupid things though there might of been a meal in there. It's so greasy, that they can't crawl out.

what do you do with them now? cook 'em?

and i wouldn't wanna waste a good bowl. i couldn't use a bowl after seeing oiled mice and poop in it

Does look a tad like your thinking of cooking them in there, being on the hob and all. I used to live next door to an indian restaurant, every now and then wed catch one or two leave from under the shed where they lived, the never did any harm though

Reminds me of the mice I would occasionally find in the trash can in the bathroom of a business I use to own. They are good at getting into things, but not very good at getting out! It was across the parking lot from a huge commercial bakery with dumpsters full of day old bread!

We just moved into our house and we were watching the boob tube when a mouse ran across the room. My boy friend and I chased it around for twenty minutes, moving furniture and such. Finally I grabbed one of my bigger fish nets and had it three times but the butt crack kept getting out...I wanted to keep it as a pet...lol

I'd say they used oil to release them from sticky traps. I do that and then feed them to my cats. I hate mice in the house walls. :|

Nevermind--I just read your entire post. You have dumb mice, LOL.

Two of them look like baby rats not mice. Might need to get a bigger bowl in a few weeks... That's an inventive way to catch them, how do you get them out to let them go tho?

I do that and then feed them to my cats
They carry toxoplasma and various worms. Most cats already have toxoplasma, might wanna avoid the worms tho.

i would have turned on the burner and walked out for 4-6 minutes :D
